In most families, there are at least three main things you know to never to talk about: politics, religion and DIET. We understand that there are a lot of foods out there that you shouldn’t consume if you hope to maintain strong oral health, but we thought that some positive info on helpful foods would be of use. Below is a list of foods you can eat with confidence . . . when it comes to your teeth, anyhow.

Celery, also referred to as nature’s toothbrush, is a great, low-cal food pick that will wash away some of the built-up plaque resting on your teeth.

Baby carrots and almonds are great selections to swap out candies since they’re little, snack-sized and less sugary. Enjoy some next time you’re wanting to consume jelly beans.

Apples, just like celery, may wash away some of the plaque on your teeth. Apples stimulate the manufacturing of spit in the oral cavity, helping to clean away debris and hurtful food debris.

The calcium and protein in yogurt will rebuild your tooth enamel, and the probiotics found in yogurt may push out the damaging bacteria in your oral cavity.
